BSF Recruitment 2014 – 293 SI, HC & CT Posts:
Directorate General Border Security Force (BSF),
New Delhi invites applications from Male Indian
Citizens for appointment in Water Wing Group B &
C Combatised Staff in BSF for the recruitment of
293 SI, HC, CT Vacancies by conducting All India
Examination. Eligible candidates can apply within
30 days from date of publication of Advertisement
and 45 days for candidates in remote areas. Other

3. SI (Engine Driver): 13 Posts

5. HC (Engine Driver): 66 Posts

7. CT (Crew): 134 Posts
Age Limit: Candidates age should be between 20
years to 25 years for Sl no 1, 4, 5, 6, 7 Posts, 22
years to 28 years for Sl no 2 & 3 Posts as on last
date of receipt of application. Age Relaxation is
applicable for SC/ ST/ OBC/ EXS & other
candidates.
Education Qualification: Candidates should
possess Bachelor Degree in Mechanical
Engineering for Sl no 1 Post, 10 + 2 or its
equivalent for Sl no 2 & 3 Posts, Matriculation for
Sl no 4 to 7 Posts.
Selection Procedure: Candidates are selected
based on written exam, Documentation & physical
standard test, physical efficiency test, trade test,
interview & medical exam.
Application Fee: Candidates have to pay Rs.50/-
through Demand Draft/ Postal Order drawn in
favour of address to whom the application is
addressed, payable at respective SBI/ Post Office
at nearby Station and no fee for SC/ ST/ BSF
candidates/ EXS.
How to Apply: Eligible candidates can apply in
prescribed format along with attested copies of
certificates, age, qualification, caste, recent pass
port size photo pasted on application and another
attached with application, 2 self addressed
envelopes with postal stamps worth Rs.39/-, by
superscribing the envelope as “APPLICATION FOR
THE POST OF ST (WORKSHOP)/ SI (MASTER)/ SI
(ENGINE DRIVER)/ HC (MASTER)/ HC (ENGINE
DRIVER)/ HC (WORKSHOP)/ CT (CREW) IN BSF
WATER WING” and send to relevant centers (refer
notification) within 30 days from date of
publication of Advertisement and 45 days for
candidates in remote areas.

11-07-2014.
Last Date for Submission of Application: within
30 days from date of publication of
Advertisement.
Last Date for Submission of Application for
